We’re on a mission to make insurance easy for our agents and customers and AgentCenter provides everyone with one of life’s most precious commodities – time. AgentCenter was designed by agents, for agents to streamline quoting, binding and servicing of Mercury policies

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (July 30, 2019) – Mercury Insurance recently launched its new agent point-of-sale system, AgentCenter, for homeowners, condo and renters insurance products. This completely redesigned interface provides a hyper-accurate homeowners insurance quote for agents at the beginning of the process by blending together multiple reports and data, which will help them quickly see if a customer qualifies for a policy from Mercury Insurance. The new system is available to Mercury agents in Arizona, California, Georgia, Illinois, Nevada, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Texas and Virginia.

“We’re on a mission to make insurance easy for our agents and customers and AgentCenter provides everyone with one of life’s most precious commodities – time,” said Brandt Minnich, vice president and chief marketing officer at Mercury Insurance. “AgentCenter was designed by agents, for agents to streamline quoting, binding and servicing of Mercury policies. It’s easy to use, fast and requires virtually no training, which means agents have time to devote to their customers.”

“Mercury makes it super easy to move data efficiently and has jumped to the front of the line for quotes I can present to customers,” said Jonathan Hawkins, owner and agency principal at Hawk Insurance Solutions based in Raritan, New Jersey. “It’s visually pleasing, has a smooth flow and, most importantly, it simply works.”

AgentCenter Homeowners includes a wealth of benefits and features that will make agents’ lives easier, including:

  • Google Maps, Zillow and Fireline mapping integrations;
  • Pre-populated third-party data, such as CLUE reports at the time of quote for accuracy;
  • An easy-to-read screen that enables agents to view multiple coverage packages side-by-side;
  • One-screen workflows to write new business and make policy updates; and
  • Agents can go from quote to bound policy in just a few minutes.

“Mercury’s new agent sales system makes us a better agency,” said Ron Young, president and CEO at Driver’s Choice Insurance Agency with multiple locations in Southern California. “The speed and ease of cross-selling the system provides is unmatched. I think all agents will agree that this leads the industry as far as ease of bundling and the best part is that it generates retention and long term profitability. It is the best agency sales platform!”

“Quoting with Mercury is now faster than any of my other carriers and the prefill data is extremely accurate,” said Windy Jamerson Autry, agency principal at South Georgia Insurance Agency based in Pelham. “It is so accurate that we know if there’s a pool on the property or not. Mercury truly understands what agents need and works diligently to be the best carrier partner.”

Mercury offers a variety of products and services such as auto, home, renters, umbrella and business auto insurance that come with coverage options including ride-hailing coverage, accident forgiveness, service line protection, home systems protection and home cyber protection.
