LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Oct. 3, 2017) – Mercury Insurance congratulates Richard “Rick” H. Redpath, Jr., of Greene, N.Y., on winning the 2017 Sammy Hagar Birthday Bash Sweepstakes, a music festival getaway to the legendary rocker’s annual celebration in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. This is the second year Mercury has partnered with Hagar to give his fans the chance to win a trip to this event that sells out in minutes.
“I’ve been a fan of Sammy Hagar since I was in high school and started listening to his band Montrose. I was a lead singer myself and loved singing ‘Bad Motor Scooter,” said Redpath. “Winning the contest sounded too good to be true, but when the reality sank in, I yelled so loudly that my neighbor called to see if I was okay! I can’t wait to meet the rock legend.”
Redpath will attend Hagar’s annual Birthday Bash with his fiancée. The two will enjoy:
