LOS ANGELES, Calif. (August 4, 2014) – The 2014 college football season starts soon and Mercury Insurance is kicking it off with a special offer for USC football fans: free tickets. Mercury and USC are teaming up again to help fans score a better deal on auto insurance and get a pair of free USC football tickets.
Mercury’s “Get a Quote, Get a Free Pair of USC Trojan Football Tickets” promotion runs today until Oct. 31. Fans who complete an online Mercury auto insurance quote at www.mercuryinsurance.com/USC will be emailed a voucher redeemable for two complimentary tickets to one of the Trojans’ first five home games in 2014: Aug. 30 vs. Fresno St.; Sept. 27 vs. Oregon St.; Oct. 4 vs. Arizona St.; Oct. 18 vs. Colorado; or Nov. 13 vs. Cal.
Bonus: Consumers completing an eligible quote will also be automatically entered into a drawing to win a pair of tickets to the USC/Notre Dame game on Nov. 29.
“We’re very confident we can save Trojan football fans money on their auto insurance,” says Erik Thompson, Mercury advertising director. “In fact, we’re so sure fans will save with Mercury that we’re willing to give away a pair of tickets just for giving us a look. And the best part is that the fans win either way – they get free tickets and they could also save a few hundred dollars on their auto insurance.”
Besides its partnership with USC, Mercury – one of California’s leading auto insurance companies – is also a sponsor of the LA Dodgers, San Diego Padres, and the 2014 NHL Stanley Cup Champion LA Kings.
